Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

The answers to the most common questions we are asked are listed below; however, if you still cannot find the answer to your question, do contact us.

Are you a shop?

The short answer is no! However we are open for order collections, but these must be pre-arranged.

Are all your products gluten free and dairy free?

Absolutely every product is gluten free. Wherever possible we make our products dairy free with a few exceptions. These being any products containing cheese, sausage rolls and occasionally some sweet goods.

Everything is prepared in a separate kitchen which is solely used for gluten free baking.

Do you make celebration cakes?

Unfortunately this is not something that we currently offer.

What flour do you use in your pastry?

We use Dove’s Farm Gluten Free Plain Flour. This is a blend of the following: rice flour, potato flour, tapioca flour, maize and buckwheat.

Can I reserve goods to be collected at a market?

Yes you can. Please ensure that you place any order by the Monday preceding the market you will be attending. In the case of Guildford, any orders need to be placed by the preceding Wednesday.

Do I need to pay for reserved goods prior to collection?

Once you have placed your order we will send you an invoice requesting payment. Payment can be made via bank transfer. Payment must be made 3 days prior to collection.

How much stock do you bring to market?

We try to bring as many products as we can to market. As they are perishable goods, we limit the amount of each product we bring otherwise we risk being left with a large amount of goods at the end of the day.

Please do consider reserving stock if you think you may not be able to attend a market until later in the day.

Can you send a package via post?

Unfortunately, we can no longer offer a courier service for our products. Please choose a click & collect option on checkout instead.

Why do certain items have a minimum quantity ?

We need to apply a minimum order for items that we do not make regularly. Unfortunately it is not cost effective to produce small quantities of flavours that are not made weekly.
