Emsworth Farmers' Market
Hands down some of the best GF food I've eaten! It was a nice suprise going to Romsey market today and seeing A Basing Bakes were GF, I was so excited! I've had my first pie tonight and I cannot fault it, beautiful food! 😊 thank you!
Really delicious pies! GF pastry is usually pretty nasty, but A Basing Bakes have got it spot on. 😋
Just had the chicken bacon and leek pie and all I can say is amazing! The pastry was spot on even my mum who is not gluten free said you would never tell the difference. Will definitely be ordering again and looking forward to my apple crumble and bread as well

I cannot recommend A Basing Bakes enough. I contacted Helen and asked for a couple of quiches and a pie for a friend who has recently been diagnosed as coeliac. They were delicious and the pastry was amazing. If I hadn't know it was all gluten free i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. I will certainly be ordering again.
Great service from A Basing Bakes. Lovely sweet and savoury treats that are gluten and loads of dairy free and soya free too. Very helpful, accommodating and lovely. I will certainly be ordering again!

I had my first delivery last week and I’m absolutely delighted, the coffee and walnut loaf perfect, pasty the pastry is delish! The quiches so tasty, the shepherds pie better than my mums! Don’t tell her! and all gluten free, I have rheumatoid Arthritis and unable to do any baking so it’s so good to have such really nice home made food, will be ordering again soon .
Just had a beautiful full of meat beef and ale pie. Very tasty. This afternoon had a lovely soft and light lemon drizzle cake. Thank you Helen. Definitely will be ordering again. X
Ordered a variety of gluten free food from Helen. Just had the veg curry for my lunch and it's delicious. Looking forward to trying the rest out, plus I got a bonus biscuit! Greatly recommended.
ordered my partner 2 chicken pies and a quiche. he said the pies were absolutely amazing! hes already asking what cakes they make!! definitely will be using again! delivered to doorstep whilst wearing gloves and all packaged brilliantly with clear cooking instructions!
Despite very late ordering A Basing Bakes still managed to have my wish list put together for me to collect from Alton market today. Sweet and savoury goods, all fantastic and Helen is so helpful. Highly recommend.
I purchased a chicken pie at Winchester farmers market. It was delicious the best gluten free pie I have had. Light crispy pastry loaded with a really tasty filling.
My Mum got me some amazing sausage rolls yesterday from the Newbury Artisan Market and I must admit, I had to question that they were definitely gluten free! Amazing! Thank you so much!

We are back in Emsworth this Saturday, from 9am - 1pm . We hope to see you at this busy farmers market . For the first time we will be bringing some frozen pies to the Emsworth market; These will be sold at a discount.. We will, of course, have all our normal fresh products as well. If you would like to buy some of the frozen items, we would suggest bringing a cool bag 🙏
Tomorrow in Winchester we are trying something slightly different. We are bringing some frozen pies to the market. These will be charged at a reduced price! The flavours that will be frozen for tomorrow will be : Sicilian Aubergine, Cajun Butternut Squash and a few of our Haggis, neeps & tatty pies ) . If you are interested in these, we would advise bringing a cool bag to keep them frozen 😅
For those of you living in Basingstoke, I just wanted to let you know that Willows Coffee House does a good range of #glutenfree cakes and toasties!
